"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." Albert Camus
You've read it often on this blog that fog is a gift and the day of this capture was exactly that. With sleepy eyes I woke to a foggy view out my bedroom window and while I fumbled to get socks, shirt, pants and shoes on I was trying to think of locations that would be best suited to this event. As it turned out this happen to be my last stop and the attraction was a threesome of elder fishing partners. There was a light breeze coming off the lake, but the atmosphere, light and mood was delicious.
The magic of fog is a facelift for any landscape. It's a facelift, a softening, a whisper that changes the old haunts into new friends. Fog can only improve the scene with a softening touch that changes the story from bright summer days to a muted softness.
Enjoy the waning days of fall.
